1. The activities of the National Women's Organization Rangamati District Branch started from 1976 onwards.

2. Manpower: 1 Chairman (unpaid), 4 members (unpaid), 1 District Officer (Chadha), 1 Shot Fundraiser-cum Computer Operator, 1 Trade Trainer and 1 Office Assistant.

3. Activities:

               1) To work for women's awareness in all areas of national life;

               2. To arrange technical and vocational training for women;

               3) Financial services to strengthen women's social security;

               4) Support women entrepreneurs to develop empowerment and job skills;

               5) Creating opportunities for women to participate in modern information technology;

               6) Assistance and counseling to protect women's rights;

               7) To arrange different conventions, seminars and workshops related to women's interests and

               8) Perform any activities directed by the government such as International Women's Day, National Children's Day, Mother's Day, Mourning Day, Begum Rokeya Day etc.

Implementation:

1) A total of 1,650 educated unemployed women have been helped to create self employment by providing sewing training. Many of these women are currently working in government, private, NGOs and various garment industries.

2) Micro-credit, self-employment loans, rural women's development project loans and income generating loans from 1994-95 fiscal year loans to women self-employed, loans made to 440 loaned by others have become very dependent

3) In the district section 2014-2015 fiscal year, 630 students of the educated unemployed women have been provided training to women based on computer training and catering (food preparation, preservation and servicing), training of 430 women, and providing support to the activities.

4) From the year 2016-2017, there has been 110 students who have been given the basic education allowance of 4 months in this district branch and have been given block book and screen print training for the urban based marginal women development project.
